New Year, Same Goals

I have shared multiple posts regarding goal setting and vision boards. You can check some of those out here : Goal Setting Top 5 Tips, Goal Setting Reminder & Tips, Family Goals, Vision Boards, Vision Boards & Goal Setting 2021.

I thought I would share some areas I am choosing to focus on this year (2022) and work towards. I personally like setting goals because I have focus areas that are in the forefront of my mind. I recently read Atomic Habits and am inspired to create achievable habits with each goal I am striving towards. If you are wanting to create habits, you can check out my top 5 tips to start here.

Whenever I create my goals and vision board, I always like to focus on multiple areas in my personal life including health, finances, career, faith, etc. I create specific achievements on my vision board that I can check off and more generalized goals for day to day. My goals are remaining the same this year because they are all things I am wanting to improve on, however there are changes with my vision board for specifics.

I have ten goals I try to focus on throughout the year, however I thought I would share five that may inspire or motivate you in your own goal setting! I would love to know anything you are focusing on.

1.Maintain Balanced Health

I am currently in a season of life where my focus is on health. I am passed the days where my goals include my physical appearance. I am constantly striving to maintain balance in my health and wellness with nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being.

2.Present & Intentional With Time/Energy

I feel like this is something I will always be working towards because there are so many distractions in the day to day.

3.AM/PM Routine

If you know me, you know I love a good routine. Although I already have some great things in place for morning and evening, I still feel like it is an area I can improve on and be even more intentional with.

4.Grow in God’s Word

One of my big goal’s is to read the entire Bible on my own. This is part of my morning routine, however I am also wanting our family to find a church home and get involved in small groups.

5.Save Money

This is a goal I have every year, however the specifics change regarding actual numbers and things we want to do with our finances. For example, my husband and I plan to max out our Roth accounts this month and have a specific number regarding our investments and accounts for our boys. This is an area that should be extremely specific and change each year!

I hope everyone has a wonderful start to the new year!

As always, sending light and love.

Blessings,

Jac

Every year I like to share the books I read with my recommendations. My yearly goal is always one book per month because it is the most realistic with our current stage of life. My favorite genre is murder mystery, however I also like to dabble in a little bit of everything. I did receive two different series last year as gifts, so those were definitely on my list of books to read this year! You can check out my previous books here: 2020 Books & 2019 Books.
