As a first time mom, I love watching my son try new foods. It is so fun to see what he gravitates towards while exploring different flavors and textures. He has always been an eater and loves ALL the food! Here is what a day of eating looks like for him…
Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs & Banana
Morning Snack: String Cheese
Lunch: Chicken, Squash, Mashed Cauliflower
Afternoon Snack: Greek Yogurt & Blueberries
Dinner: Beef Stew
Some things that work for us…
- Changing up his breakfast & snacks every 1-1.5 weeks
- Preparing a veggie and a batch of grilled chicken for the week to throw together easy lunches
- Having dinner leftovers on hand for a lunch option
- Eating a variety in our dinners to allow him to try new things
- Having a plan
- Letting him decide when he is done (he will push his tray away)
- Keeping a fruit/veggie squeeze pack and crackers in the diaper bag at all times in case I need to hold him over
What are some of your go to meals or snacks for your little?
