For those of you who know our family, you know we all LOVE a good smoothie. I started making them for me and my husband as an easy and nutrient dense breakfast for the work week, and now we can’t go without them. Our one year old also loves them, which is a win for this Momma! All three of us have a different “go-to” recipe, but also enjoy changing it up.
I thought I would share my favorite combo that is always a good recipe to have on deck.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 scoop of favorite protein powder (chocolate)
- 1 scoop of favorite greens powder
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 tablespoon flax-seed
- 2 tablespoons of PB powder or 1 tablespoon natural PB
*I also add a couple of ice cubes and some water for the perfect consistency
