First Year Of A Baby & 3 Things I Like To Do Monthly

Our little love turned seven months today, and I don’t even know where the time has gone. I feel like this time around has been so much faster than the first, and I am just trying to soak in all of the fleeting moments.

Each month I like to do a few things to keep myself organized with the first year. I thought I would share what I have done with boy boys in case you are wanting to implement anything with your own children. I would love to know anything you do!

1.Letters

At the end of each month I write a letter to our son recapping milestones, changes, personality and memories. I started this with our older son, and I am so thankful I did! After a year I write yearly letters to talk about the year and them as a person. I think it is so special to remember what they were like and highlight special moments. I keep everything organized in my drive, and plan to give to them when they are older (or when they become a parent).

2.Picture Albums

I don’t know about you, but I take so many picture of our boys. My phone is constantly full because I love having pictures of them. At the end of the month I like to upload all pictures to a designated album to keep it organized and so I can free phone space. I love having everything easily accessible and organized!

3.Clothing Sort

Both of our boys have grown extremely fast so we have flown through clothes. Our little love is currently in 12 months, which is wild to me. Because of this, I am constantly switching out sizes. When I do this I like to go ahead and sort items I want to keep for memory purposes and then items I want to give. This helps so I have one less thing later and can do it while it is fresh on my mind.

What are some things you do with your children?

As always, sending light and love.

Blessings,

Jac
