Dinner Meal Plan

On Fridays I typically plan our meals and prep our shopping list for the following week so I am not scrambling on Sunday to try and do everything. As I was planning today, I thought I would share what that looks like in our house! I keep a note on my phone that has our meals at the top and our grocery list underneath. I will add to the list throughout the week of anything we need to pick up or I randomly think of/want to make.

Here is what is on deck this week!

Friday: Leftovers (Chicken Caprese Bake & Broccoli Rice Casserole)

Saturday: Burgers/Burger Bowls & Fries

Sunday: Steak, Mashed Cauliflower, Broccoli

Monday: Beef Stew

Tuesday: Enchiladas, Spanish Rice, Black Beans

Wednesday: Baked Meatballs (Spaghetti Squash/Noodles) & Salad

Thursday: Leftovers

Friday: Leftovers OR Take Out

I tend to have anything Mason wants to cook on the weekends so he has the time since he likes doing everything from scratch. I also love to do our crock-pot meal on Sunday/Monday just to have it done and ready to go.

We always like to know what we are eating so we can balance out the rest of the day. It also helps us to not be wasteful, especially with produce and anything fresh. Because we plan, we really only buy what we need aside from our “staples” and only make one trip a week. I also like planning different snacks for our toddler so he can continue trying new things and get variety in his food/nutrition.

Who else loves having a game plan? It has been SO helpful for our family!
