10 Items I Am Currently Loving In 2022 (Amazon)

I don’t know about you, but we use Amazon for almost everything. It is so convenient for me to use with small kids, and is a way to keep track of items we are interested in. We keep a family wish list that we share with loved ones to provide gift ideas for any occasion, which has been amazing!

I have shared some favorites in different areas you can check out here: Amazon Health Finds, Amazon Clothing Finds, Amazon Hubby Finds, Amazon Toddler Finds, Amazon Christmas Finds, Toddler Educational Materials Part 1, Toddler Educational Materials Part 2, and Amazon Products We Use Daily.

I thought I would share some current favorites and items I am loving. I would love to know any of your reccomendations!

1.Festive Earrings

I am not a jewelry person aside from my rings and watch, however I do love wearing a fun pair of earrings. Amazon has some great prices for fun, statement earrings…especially for holiday!

2.Mama Sweater

I love this sweater because it is lightweight and can be worn with athletic clothes, or jeans. I sized up!

3.Cookbook

We have really been trying to incorporate one new recipe a week so see what meals we can add to our list and rotation. We are loving this cookbook. The meals are so simple but really tasty!

4.Step Stool

My husband got this for me as a Christmas gift, and I swear I use it every day. It is the perfect size and easily folds up. Our toddler also uses is to help out in the kitchen and can set it up himself!

5.Pasta/Salad Bowls

We were gifted these from our list and absolutely love them. They are perfect for pasta and salads because you can actually mix ingredients up and see everything without them being too deep. We constantly reach for them!

Stay tuned for more favorites and items we use!

As always, sending light and love.

Blessings,

Jac

Baby Wellness Checks 3-9 Months: What To Expect

Our son recently had his nine month appointment, so I thought I would share an update on wellness visits and what to expect with each. I shared what to expect with wellness checks from 0-2 months, which you can check out here. I feel like it is always nice to have a general idea of what each appointment may look like that first year.

Wellness Check #5: Four Months

Once again your baby will complete a physical wellness check. Prior to the appointment you will fill out a questionnaire regarding your baby and developmental stages. You will discuss sleep, feeding, safety and any additional concerns. Your doctor may also discuss introducing purees at this appointment. Your baby will receive vaccinations at the end of the appointment (exact same as 2 month) with the nurse.

Wellness Check #6: Six Months

This appointment is the exact same as the four month appointment, including vaccinations. The big discussion will be introducing table foods and addressing questions, concerns, and recommendations.

Wellness Check #7: Nine Months

This appointment is similar to other wellness checks with the physical exam and developmental questionnaire. The main difference is there are no vaccinations at the end of the appointment. The main discussion topics include food and safety since your child will typically begin crawling around this age.

What surprised you most with doctor visits or appointments? I would love to know!

As always, sending light and love.

Jac

Favorite Toddler Games

Our son recently turned four and is very interested in playing games. My husband and I enjoy playing with him and spending time together as a family. We are not ones to let him win just because, so he is definitely learning how to lose gracefully along with other valuable lessons. I thought I would share five of our current favorites or go tos for this age. I would love to know yours!

1.Trouble

I would definitely start with this before Sorry or other board games. It is very simple for children and easy to “roll” the dice and participate.

2. Chutes And Ladders

This is another great option for spinning numbers and counting! It takes us longer to get through a round of this game because there are so many times you will start over or hit a chute.

3. Kids Sequence

This is another easy and simple option. We love the adult version and have so much fun playing the kids version with our son. We also play with the cards face up so we can help our son if needed.

4. Connect Four

Our son does not have this, however loves to play it with friends. He is receiving it for Valentines day and I am excited to play with him. It is another simple and fun game. The large outdoor game is also fun!

5. Hi Ho Cherry-O

This is another simple game and great for counting (adding on and taking away). The pieces are small so I would recommend not playing with littler ones around!

You can check out my favorite five toddler craft activities here and what my children are receiving for Valentines here.

As always, sending light and love.
