Morning Routine

I have never been one to have much of a morning or evening routine. I used to do what I needed to get done, and that was about it. Once I decided to stay home with little man, I realized how important setting up a routine was aside from the normal day to day operations or “to-dos”. Those hours of alone time can easily be wasted if I am not intentional with how I want to spend them. I thought I would share my current AM routine, and save my PM for another post.

2019 AM Routine:

  • Drink a good amount of water
  • Get ready for the day and listen to personal development ( I like Mom Mastery University resources)
  • Work a couple of hours from home (teaching online English classes)
  • Make the bed
  • Send Hubby off to work
  • Gratitude journal
  • Affirmations
  • 30 minute walk with little man (quiet time in prayer)

This is all usually completed by 8:30 am which gets me in such a good head space for the remainder of the day. What are some of your routines that have really worked for you?

    1. I wake up at 4:30 to teach at 5:00 but go to bed early! I wasn’t able to be consistent until the LO was because Momma needs her sleep too!
